By day, she guides K-4 artists in discovering and expressing their creative spirits. By night, she delves into her own artistic explorations, channeling her energy into paint and resin. Her work is deeply shaped by her upbringing in the 1970s and 1980s. It draws on the playful nostalgia of Saturday morning cartoons, the bold, electric color palettes of early Atari video games, and the eccentric visual language of Pee-Wee’s Playhouse, with occasional nods to the darker whimsy of Tim Burton. She is also influenced by the playful geometric forms of Scandinavian folk motifs.
